Trade terms, quality sorting and how a quote is built.

Everything on this page applies to trade orders. Terms are confirmed in writing on the quote, and nothing here is a substitute for that confirmation.

Terms

The commercial basics.

Set per order rather than fixed for everyone, because grade and destination change both cost and date.

Wholesale terms
Minimum orderQuoted per line and per order; mixed lines are quoted together
Price basisPer piece, tiered by grade and quantity
CurrencyAUD, quoted at the time of order
Quotation validityStated on the quote; stone lots move, so stale quotes are re-checked
DeliveryQuoted to your destination — port or door — before you commit
PaymentConfirmed in writing with the order, not assumed from this page
SamplesQuoted separately; any credit against a bulk order is agreed up front
PackingIndividual sleeve and lot carton; retail-ready packing is a quoted line

Quality

Grade is a description of the stone, not a certificate.

We sort by the feature each collection is bought for, and we describe what that means so you can check a lot against it.

Rainbow moonstone beads from a production lot, showing blue flash under workshop light

Rainbow Moonstone

Judge a rainbow moonstone strand from a photo taken straight on and you will overstate the flash. Ask for a short video under a fixed light, or a photo at two angles, before you set a retail price on it.

Aquamarine beads from a production lot

Aquamarine

Gentle heating to remove green or yellow tones is standard and accepted in the trade. It is not a defect, but it is a disclosure — ask for the treatment status of the actual lot rather than assuming it from the photograph.

Purple rutilated quartz beads from a production lot

Purple Rutilated Quartz

A grade shows a moderate spread of needles with visible clear quartz between them. AA shows heavier, more continuous violet. Ask for both in the same bead size if your customers compare strands side by side.

What we will not claim

We do not publish certifications, treatment claims or capacity figures that have not been issued or verified for the specific lot. If your market requires a document, ask before ordering and it is confirmed in writing — or the order is not placed.

What you can check

The lot photos, the bead count and diameter, the grade description against the strand in front of you, and the packing list. Approve the lot before dispatch; that approval is what the order is built on.

Questions

Trade questions, answered plainly.

Do you publish prices?

No. The unit price depends on grade, bead size and quantity, and the grade that fits your retail price is a decision worth talking through. Send the quantity and the target band and you get a line-by-line quote.

What do you need from me to quote accurately?

Collection, bead size, grade, quantity, destination country and the date you need the goods. Packing and labelling requirements are useful but can follow after the first quote.

How quickly will I get an answer?

Reply time is confirmed with you in the enquiry response. The quote itself is prepared per line, so a mixed order with several SKUs takes longer than a single line.

Can I see the actual lot before it ships?

Yes — that is part of the standard process. Photos of the lot that will ship are sent for approval before dispatch. What you approve is what is packed.

What happens if a line cannot meet my target price?

We say so, and offer the grade or size that does. A cheaper stone is never substituted silently for the one you asked about.

Do you supply to retailers as well as wholesalers?

The site is built for trade buyers: importers, distributors, resellers, live-selling teams, jewellery workshops and brands buying at volume. If your order is a single piece, tell us and we will say whether it fits.
